How to Sell Telephones
You may think selling a phone is as straightforward as 123, but actually it may be a little tricky to do correctly. So, here is a guide on how best to do that!
Before Selling
1. Research how a phone is worth. This is important, since the cost ranges can be anywhere from $5 to $300. Determine which phone you're trying to market also, as it's no use trying to sell something you can't name!
2. Consider selling accessories together with the phone. Things such as:a charger, custom made case, or pre-bought programs. If the telephone has a deleted program on it, such as Flappy Bird, this can increase the cost a bit. On the flip side, if you sell without things such as the charger or box, this may lower the price (not by a ton, but still quite a bit).

3. Examine the Problem. This also changes the cost. A brand new, unopened iPhone 6 will sell for good money, but a beat up old Nokia reverse phone will sell for much, much less, if ever at all. If the screen is broken, the battery is lost or the phone is locked with a password that you can't recall, get these issues fixed, don't sell at all or only sell individual components.
4. Pick what to sell it on. The best option here is eBay. Alternatives are Amazon, Gumtree and Craigslist. Be mindful selling on Craigslist, though, you do not need to get scammed!
5. Delete contacts, phone logs, logins, and other personal detail. This is essential, to protect your (and other's) privacy.
Promoting The Telephone
1. Insert a Title. Name the telephone and say what's with it, whether it functions, the color, etc.
2. Have a picture of this phone. This is self explanatory.
3. Compose a description. Note down any issues with the phone or any damage on it.
4. Choose a price. You have to research the usual price or it will not sell. As soon as you've chosen the cost and postage fee (if there is one), click Finish.
Shipping The Telephone
1. Set the telephone in its own box, if it comes with it.
2. Package the Telephone. You need to do this to keep the telephone and it is box tidy, also to write the speech on and stick to the stamp.
3. Take it to a post office and send it to the buyer's address. That's it!
